"This restaurant is often overlooked by many as it is located on the same street as about 2 dozen other restaurants. Every time I was the food, it was excellent. Cooked to perfection you could say. One of my favorite places to go for a good meal, and they have some excellent offers for the beginning of the week (appearants, duck and desert for $20). Appropriate prices and mostly good service. Just had problems with the service. I strongly advise you to check this restaurant next time in the area."

"We decided to try Cal's having heard decent reviews. The parking lot could have used another 20-30 spots as we ended up parking down the street. The restaurant itself was packed on a Friday night and was definitely louder than normal. Drinks took awhile, but were good- 1 beer and a blueberry pomegranate martini. We had excellent oysters and the risotto fritters. While the fritters had a nice crunch to them, they lacked in flavor. Second course was butternut squash soup that was good and a chicken Alfredo dish that was very good. Overall, an average experience but would try again for lunch or Sunday brunch."
