"The only thing going for this place was the historic setting. No wonder the restaurant was empty!! The food was mediocre and the surcharge as a non resident for a very tough steak was not at all clearly indicated of the menu! Not a proper statement ,just a small easily missed letter. One member of staff who seemed pained to be serving. Booked this in advance looking forward to a good meal wish I had chosen elsewhere!!"
