"Much improved since our last visit in 2019. Very good food and service. Glad I broke my don't order pizza unless in an Italian restaurant rule, as my pizza was excellent just wish they did a seafood one. Covid wise: excellent with tables well spaced and staff wearing facemasks."

"Called in after a walk from Mousehole to Penzance ready and hungry! We were not disappointed as this was the best cod chips and mushy peas. Tip in the current climate is go to the right hand side of the door and place your order...then queue on the left hand side of the door and listen for your shout out. Service is quick and we walked to some seating over the road to eat. We had small and the portions are big! Cod was so fresh and crispy light batter and great well cooked chips and mushy peas. Would highly recommend and will visit again on next years holiday."

"Didn’t end up getting our takeaway, as it was clearly an inconvenience to dare to order half an hour before closing. We were ‘greeted’ by two staff, one male one female. When I say ‘greeted’, I mean some ‘grunting’ and grumpy faces. We then asked for our first order of fish and chips- met with a collective sigh from both staff. The second request was for gluten free fish and chips, which was met with an audible comment of ‘for f**k sake’ from the male. When asking the female server if this was too much for them to make, she said ‘no’ very abruptly and the male server then sighed again and rolled his eyes. Needless to say, we left without our food and Trebonney will not have our custom again. We will be speaking to management, as the service was past appalling, it was downright unacceptable! How dare we ask for food that they serve, in a timely manner?!"

"Brilliant pub in fab location right on Porth beach , really friendly staff and a great choice of beers. Great offer of 2 meals for £20 on a lunchtime such great value piping hot and freshly cooked delivered quickly to table , beer battered fish was excellent chips amazing so crisp and fresh and husband loves the scampi. Dogs welcome and a lovely atmosphere would highly recommend"
