"Took my family and my son here for his 21st birthday dinner. Wait and hostess staff were friendly and gracious. When the food got there 2 orders were ice cold, well done steak was bloody and my dinner was supposed to have risotto but was served over donepotatoes instead. Prices were too high not to say something so I asked for a manager. Manager argued with me telling me it wasrice not potatoes (she had no idea I have a diploma in cooking and catering and make risotto at home so I KNOW the difference).Then she snapped at me demanding to know what I expected her to do, remake or take it away? I told her I wanted the cold platesremade and mine taken off because I was too angry to eat now and asked for the bill. Bill looked like a jumbled mess whereseveral items were added, then taken off, then added back. It was pointed out to me that a discount was given but when Iadded up the original order (including mine) the total I paid ended up being what I would 've paid originally. I paid the billand left as I was too furious to argue anymore. My family was so upset it absolutely ruined my son 's birthday dinner. None ofus will EVER go back there!! Save your money. There are much tastier and friendlier places to eat at Island View."
