"This is the second time we’ve eaten here to celebrate a birthday of one of our grandchildren and again it was very good. The food was very tasty and all the portions were more than enough none of us (child or adult) manged to eat all our meals. Drinks and food orders were taken quickly and while there was a bit of a delay waiting for the food it was worth it as it was clearly freshly cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive. I’m sure if we stayed closer we would visit more often."

"Good fish and chips. Light fluffy batter. Well packaged. Good service. One of the better fish and chips shops. I travel from Middlesbrough to Redcar for these fish chips .Worth the travel"

"Large family visit for a birthday celebration. They split us over 2 tables either side of the restaurant which wasn’t expected as previously they have put us all together down one side. We asked if we could buy drinks separately as we were such a big party and were told quite bluntly no they couldn’t facilitate that. The person taking the drinks orders was very flustered brought a few wrong drinks which we sent back and at the end they tried to charge an extra £6 for one of these!! Think they’ve added shrinkflation to the meals chicken was smaller than previously and the sauce was very bland with a small bowl of chips and a very small portion of salad leaves, I’m not a big eater and certainly didn’t fill me. The pizzas did look good though. We preordered and still had to wait quite a while some people’s food was quite cold. Staff in the past have been great but they must have been having a bad night.!! Toilet floor was very slippery too could maybe do with something over the tiles. All in all very disappointing and don’t think I’ll be visiting again soon"

"We stayed over in the Unice Lodge. It has x1 double bed and x3 single beds, and a dressing table with the kettle on. The toilet and shower room is out of the room to the right next to the hottub, we suggest you take towels as the rooms don't supply them. Also, take your Crocs or flip flops. The artificial grass gets a little soggy when you're out there from the hot tub if you need to access the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, just what you need after drinking 1 2 many Skittle cocktails. Great service, very helpful and friendly. Would recommend Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"
