"Friendly place in Bonn. The beach bar is brilliant! Summer Man is located directly on the Rhine and can take care of the ships. Wide range of food, drinks, ice cream in the restaurant AND beer garden, with good price/performance ratio. We had a lot of fun at the last soccer World Cup ́06/EM ́08. Also this year on a large screen. You must also be able to celebrate large private parties on the first floor. The beach bar cannot be rented. I'm looking forward to the next visit. At the moment there are delicious waffles. Freshly baked!!!"

"Casbah is centrally located at Bottlerplatz, so if you sit outside you have a view of the medieval city gate (Sterntor). It is very pretty with huge trees as well. There are many vegan dishes which are clearly marked on the menu, including pasta, baked potatoes, burgers, a curry, cakes, soups and salads. The choice of drinks is large, too. My husband chose the baked potato with soy yoghurt, avocado creme and mushrooms. I had the zucchini pasta. Both dishes tasted well and the portions were huge!!! The prices look a bit steep at first, but I don‘t think they are considering the location and the size of the meals. Staff were friendly, too, and the restaurant is very spacious, so it was easy to get a table although it was Saturday evening on a long weekend. We will certainly eat here again when we come to Bonn! Visited in April 2023"
