"Hatte das Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen und Bratkartoffeln. War eine Riesen Portion, Betonung liegt auf war - mit etwas Geduld und dem wirklich leckeren Weißbier habe ich es geschafft. Das Schnitzel mit Beilagen war gut. Für meinen Geschmack waren die Bratkartoffeln etwas zu würzig. Toll wenn die Portionen etwas kleiner und dafür vielleicht etwas günstiger Angeboten werden könnten. Nicht das es teuer ist aber einfach zu groß. An den Nachbartischen blieb auch so manches über."

"Erhard Claar and his wife opened a very cozy and family café with the Piccolo years ago in Cappel. The cakes, ice cream and soups are not only homemade, but also very tasty. In addition, Sommelier Erhard Claar is the only restaurant in Cappel with country-oriented wine tasting evenings. If you have breakfast and/or want to take part in one of the wine tasting evenings in a cosy ambience with several people, I recommend registering with Erhard Claar or his wife beforehand. The ingredients for breakfast are bought by Mr. Claar. When the guests come to breakfast, the table is already lovingly covered. It's particularly nice that Mr. Claar needs a lot of time for his guests. There are several bakeries in Cappel that offer coffee and cakes, but these are, in my opinion, unpleasant mass production facilities. Conclusion: Those who want to taste homemade food and individual gastronomy and wine are at Café Piccolo."

"Beautiful hotel restaurant in the marburger unterstadt near the railway station and the elisabethenkirche. directly opposite is the elevator to the marburger oberstadt. in the entrance area, apart from a warm welcome awaits also fresh fruit and sweet nice geste the rooms were large, clean and bright and despite the main road amazingly quiet. also in our rooms awaited us a small welcome greeting, as well as info material in the city of marburg. Unfortunately we have no time for visits etc. but are picked up as the prospective lust awaits us in the form of a congressional work. the breakfast selection is huge, teller with sausage, ham, lintel, cheese, etc. egg preparations, roasted sausages, yogurt, sweets, jams, honey, chalk, juices, water, tasty, coffee, tee. a large selection of breads and very fresh pieces. some small mankos there are also breakfast room at all days loud and very full and in the rooms unfortunately little space to hang clothes no closed cabinet, but only one kind of garderobe is booked early enough, they come in the joy of an early booker rabats of 10%."

"Wenn man ein Freund italienischen Essens ist und dann noch eine Vorliebe für Fisch hat, ist man hier zu 100% richtig. Empfehlungen für frischen Fisch gibt es am Tisch und weil uns die Baby-Calamares so gut geschmeckt haben, gab es noch einen üppigen Extra-Nachschlag... Hier fühlt man sich pudelwohl und der Laden punktet mit dem Essen und nicht unbedingt dem Ambiente."

"Nice location for fast food. Opens until very late and is great during an evening out. The location is close to the Marburg city council and allows one to enjoy the old town views. Loved the Schnitzel but the mushroom sauce was cooked in tomato sauce, wasn’t so nice. The cocktails were great and we really enjoyed them. Everyone ordered extra rounds. Great views of the Marburg old town"

"Die nette Studentenkneipe in der historischen Altstadt kann man wirklich empfehlen. Mittags im Café Barfuss: nette Bedienung, hübsches Ambiente, prima und reichhaltige Speisekarte. Das ausgesuchte Nudelgericht (grüne Bandnudeln mit Rotwein-Sahnesauce, Cherrytomaten, Paprika, Oliven und Hähnchenfleisch, darüber Parmesanraspeln) war sehr lecker und die Portion von der Größe her ordentlich bemessen. Ich war jedenfalls gut gesättigt."
