"After an appointment in the north of Hamburg, I had time for lunch. This time I traveled near the Norderstedt town hall and found a free parking behind the town hall. On the way I had seen the lights of this place, and after another restaurant I actually wanted to visit was not open, so I went to Alberto. Operation I entered the square and found it well filled, an operation near the vault greeted me and pointed me to one of the last free tables. I took a place and immediately she gave me the menu. The appearance of this service was very friendly as well as the waiter who provided me in the meantime did not seem to have any gastronomic training. Food The menu can be downloaded on the restaurant's homepage: [here link] The offer hardly differs from the other Italian restaurants in Germany, but some meals are offered cheaper at noon, including all pizzas. After short consideration I ordered “pizza with ham and mushrooms” (6.90 €, regular price 8.60 € and Cola light. It was taken in the bottle after a short time and proved to be Cola Zero (0.33l for €2.40). After about 15 minutes, the pizza was served, which was already cut into six pieces. A rather thick, very solid and dry edge merged into a thin bottom that was too thin in the middle to still wear the coating. Distributed on the dough was part of the tomato sauce, put ham and mushroom pieces on it. On the coating there was nothing of a cheese layer or cheese. Only after a while I realized that there were cheese on the pizza – but under the lid! Otherwise there were no herbs on the pizza, and also other spices were not detectable. It is hardly to mention that I had to fight with the solid edge first and later tastefully with the too thin floor the pizza was best “everything right”, but the benotation cannot really save. Ambience Overall somewhat chaotic, because Alberto also sells Italian home accessories and the restaurant is partly used as an exhibition room for it. The floor is covered with laminate in rustic plank optics, the chairs are partly made of dark, partly of light reddish wood. The tables have panels with plastic coating, there was only a tealight and a sugar container. Then cutlery and napkin were brought on a plate along with salt shaker and pepper mill and two bottles with chili and garlic oil. The walls changed between orange and ochre, along with numerous wall lamps as well as picture frames with tables. Overall, however, the place is quite small, there are about ten tables set up, a conceptual collection of decorative items and private pictures was scattered in the room. Cleanliness Despite the described chaos, the dining room seemed acceptable, dishes, glasses and cutlery were perfectly clean, but there were several crumbs on the adjacent chair. The toilet was not visited, no statement is possible."

"Очень здорово, что в городе, где приходится бывать частенько по работе, есть ресторан с так мною любимой балканской кухней. Здесь она представлена в хорватском виде, что в общем-то не делает её хуже. Само собой, аутентичность поддерживается работающими в ресторане хорватами. В меню преобладают типично балканские блюда. Я выбрал ещё и с хорватским названием: Zagreb-Steak. Очень-очень вкусный ромштекс с ветчиной и сыром внутри! просто пальчики оближешь! Теперь, вот, в следующий приезд собираюсь сюда же на чевапчичи и плескавицу. В этом году на Балканы не получится - зато теперь есть Дубровник в Нордерштедте!"

"Eiscafé is again understatement. It is indeed also a wonderful Italian family and a treasure trove for interiors and decoration far from the poststream. Cosy, cute, friendly, open, family. Funny: an Italian course in continuous loop runs on the toilets. Great: The door to the kitchen and ice machine is always open (you have nothing to hide here). "I had different sandwiches with ham and with huh, both with pineapple. I had pizza too, but that was nothing special. the sandwiches are quickly done, about minutes waiting, I think a approximate euro for everyone....They were enough to keep for a few hours. the only problem I have is to eat them as they are quite big, and I get the souse over my face."

"This restaurant is really underrated. I've visited other, better rated, greek restaurants in Norderstedt they are nothing comparing to that one. Here, if you would like to criticise your meal, you would have to talk about nuances, like if may be the sauce would...better highlight the filet taste if there were more (or less) green pepper. In the others my meals were simply ether over-salted or overdone."
