"We found this bar last year and when we returned to Berlin we alway's knew we would be going back to this wonderful bar as it was so good on our last visit.You walk in this bar and your are struck by how good this bar is,great decor,exposed brickwork,cool beer ephamera plastered all over the bar,furnished to a high quality with great comfortable seating and great staff plus free quick wi-fi make this a must go destination if your in the area.We sat outside on this visit as we were not going to have a meal as we had ate previously but we ordered a nice iced cold BERLINER KINDLE and this was just perfect to chill out and plan the rest of the day out.This place is very popular both with tourist's and local's and can get full ,it was only mid afternoon when we visited but this bar was already very busy.We got the attention of the staff and ordered one more beer ,this time we opted for a darker beer my twin brother and i both enjoy,namely MARKESCHER LANDMANN BEER again served in perfect condition and really tasty.We had a very pleasant hour or so here and will again return on our next trip to Berlin in August.Very easy to locate,jump tram T12 or M1 down to ZIONSKIRCHPLATZ walk down KASTANIENALLEE were you will find this bar.Opening hour's are:Monday to Sunday,2.30pm till 10.30pm.Great bar and well worth a visit."

"We live nearby and occasionally come here when there is a special occasion. The prices are a little higher than usual in Berlin, but there are really good classical French cuisine. The meat just as fried as desired, excellent appetizers and especially: elegant dishes, but with really generous portions. Thus the best of the German and French tradition unites. Whoever sneaks over the Pommes did not look exactly: They are thinly donated and with shell therefore logically rides slightly darker, but always fresh and especially absolutely natural. If you want white fat sticks, go to the pommesbude. The service as always friendly and cheerful, bilingual German French. You feel comfortable because it goes easy and yet with style and class."
