"I've known this restaurant for several years; and I've never been disappointed. Whether you go there in summer time, where you will then go outside in a beautiful beer garden with a view of the deer or in winter where you have to sit inside, it is always worth going there. The only thing I personally do not like, and I know that this is at a high level, is the fact that it is self-service in the garden in summer. The food is traditional Austrian Upper Austrian. The menu is seasonal and only local productions are used. On the other day they had a special what a house was made liver sausage. It was just divine! Other traditional dishes are of course the Wiener Schnitzel, the Goulasch, a roast of either pork or veal, etc."

"Ich muss vorausschicken, dass ich noch nie im Gösserkeller gegessen habe, wenngleich ich das nach der Lektüre einiger Rezensionen hier möglichst bald nachholen werde. Mir ist das Lokal nur durch abendliche Abstecher in die Linzer Innenstadt bekannt - es lässt sich hier vorzüglich in gemütlicher und bodenständiger Atmosphäre mit Freunden das eine oder andere Bier trinken, im Sommer bevorzugt im kleinen Schanigarten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Für Nichtraucher gut zu wissen: Hier speist und trinkt man rauchfrei."
