"I ordered a wiener snitzel with a potato salad. The restaurant was packed and we got the last seats. Seeing this we expected the food to take some time to come but all it took was 15 minutes for everything to arrive. Prices were good,...considering that you can't get a restaurant more in the city center. It was a pleasant experience."

"Every season one of my favorite restaurants in Vienna! This restaurant belongs to the Figelmüller family, but is a different concept for their Schnitzel restaurants. Lugeck is more of a state-of-the-art inn serving a range of traditional and non-traditional cuisine. The tradition is of course Vienna/Austria! There is always a special menu and it always reflects the incredible seasonality of Austrian cuisine. The food is consistently good, the service is efficient and friendly and the ambience revived! In summer they have a beautiful outdoor area, which is also well shaded"

"Das Essen in der Luftburg ist sehr ausgezeichnet, ich habe eine Stelze und als Dessert einen Bananensplit gegessen. Ich habe nicht sehr lange auf auf mein Essen gewartet und das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Das war nicht mein erster und auch nicht mein letzter Aufenthalt in der Luftburg."

"I have travelled the world and this place is without doubt the worst Italain food I have even ordered. The fact that it is run by Indian( no offence as we love that cuisine) should have been a warning. The pizza was on a supermarket base with toppings and looked bad and tasted worse. My wife ordered tortellini with salmon and she only ate the salmon. The sad thing was because of who we are we paid for it. Please avoid this place there are many good options across the road or in the streets nearby. Overpriced for very ordinary food!!!!!!!"

"I know there are many comments about bad service in this restaurant, but we didn't have that experience. The staff were quite helpful and friendly and my sense is they are now very aware of the impact social media can have on their business. I'm glad we took a chance and had dinner here as the food was wonderful and the atmosphere was very nice. I particularly loved the white asparagus salad and my drink with rose petals in it. We are very happy with this choice."

"Wien ist anders, Vienna is different. That is what you will hear quite often in this wonderful city. It may be used to explain the wonderful, but also to excuse what is not so wonderful. This restaurant seems to have it all. Splendid location, beautiful interior, great food. And smoke. Sure, there is a non smoking section, but the connection is through an open door. And, as the chef pointed out when I remarked the lobster was marred by the sensation of smoke on my gums and in my nostrils, there were only two people smoking. Whatever. If you like fantastic cooking mingled with the smell of cigarettes, go there. If you don't mind spending about 150 euro per person while sampling another person's exhaled tobacco, go there. You'll love it. Vienna is indeed different."
