"Ho cenato qui la prima sera a Bad Homburg! Ci voleva proprio una cena tipica tedesca con un'ottima cotoletta e una bella birra! "After we fully enjoy the walk around and within the reconstructed Roman cuddle, we came to the taberna for a light beak, were enchanted by the description of the dishes in the menu and had a full lunch. and it was excellent! looks, feels, smells. another window into the old past. the interrior des ortes, as well as the menu, seasoned, choice of ingrid and compliment wine gave us all a feeling of as at that time. will definitely be back at our next visit!"

"A few years ago I had reported about the Taverne Kavala. Since then, it has been my favorite Greek . Unfortunately, I rarely come to Bad Homburg to enjoy this pleasure more often. This starts with the warm welcome. Like I was an old friend. Be recognized immediately after a long time. And greeted with my beloved Ouzo. The food is extremely good, excellent. On the huge charcoal grill, the delicacies are grilled, like my beloved bifteki, filled with sheep cheese. Of course also Souvlaki and a wide range of meat dishes. An almost psychic pleasure is the lamb lobe, which is so tender that it can be enjoyed without knives. The mixed mezedes, cold and warm, you will hardly experience in this high quality elsewhere. The eggplant slices in the dough shell belong to my other favorites. As mentioned at the beginning, the service is as wonderful and facing as the food. This great quality inevitably entails a disadvantage: it is almost always prosperous. Reservation recommended. It then opens the door into an exceptional lucullic paradise."

"Sehr guter Pizzaservice, der auch mehr internationale Gerichte (indisch...) anbietet. Es gibt einen kleinen Wartebereich, auch mit ein paar Tischen und Bänken, aber Restaurant wäre zuviel gesagt. Auf der einen Seite ist die offene und saubere Küche von Vorteil (ich durfte auch beobachten, wie ein Teigling, nachdem sich die einzige Fliege daraufsetzte direkt entsorgt wurde. Top!), zum anderen liegt natürlich der Nachteil darin, dass man nach dem Verlassen des Lokals auch etwas nach Pizza riecht. Die Pizzen sind sehr lecker,gut belegt und haben einen knusprigen aber nicht festen Rand."

"Was so excited about atmosphere being so Italian and all the staff speaking only Italian. Saw a couple locals picking up take out speaking Italian. I thought, what a gem. The bread that came out with olive oil and balsamic on a plate looked good....The house salad was decent, with more tasty balsamic on it. So far so good. Then my Diavalo pizza came out (my favorite that I order anywhere in the world that offers it). To my surprise, it was sliced like American pizza. The crust was horrible and not remotely authentic. Not even the toppings tasted good. The wine was OK, the complimentary grappa was nice, but wow, was I disappointed. Had initially thought I might come back for dinner, but after this, I’d rather eat at the hotel."
