"The Convent bakery is on my usual walk along the city trail along the Yarra. With dogs in tow it's a great place to stop for a coffee and breakfast or take home some wonderful bread and pastries. The fruit buns are delicious and the...muffins are moist and packed full of fruit. Make the detour to this place."

"By all account the vanilla slices are excellent and I could see Boscastle pies and roast meats as well. I chose the house specialty of chicken schnitzel in a salad roll. It was very tasty and filling and it included just what I wanted, no more, no less. The coffee I had with it was great, too. Many seem to call in to get takeaway sandwiches, but many also dine in (inside or outside)."
