"We stayed in the Trip Inn Conti Hotel so this bar was only a one minute walk from our hotel,its a bar I always look forward to visiting as I've been here quite a few times now on previous holidays to Cologne, it's a solid...locals bar serving great food and iced cold beers. I love the look of this bar,a beautiful green tiled serving bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings including some great decorative features throughout the bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside on their cool outside seating area. We were here on a Monday afternoon and this place was full,we very luckily managed to get a table were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a beer each,we opted to have a Gaffel Kolsch each,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. The Kolsch beer served here is excellent, a light,hoppy beer with a big foamy Head served in the cool distinctive narrow Kolsch beer glass,it was just so good being in such a great bar enjoyong such a delicious lager style beer . On this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were here only for beers but I have ate here on many occasions over the years and the meals are just superb, proper pub grub. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer each before we moved on as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Herr Pimock is easy to locate along Aachenstrae,a street and area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, till Friday, till Saturday, till Sunday, till A wonderful bar ,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area."

"The second attempt today. for the sake of fairness, I write only today - it was even worse than last time! the carvings had a not quite fresh beitaste (.nett expressed) the sweet supplement, which was ordered separately, was so salted that one could not eat it.The whole of the food was remembered (the print "culinarally" I didn't want to use the carnival at first). sometimes it's really full when I walk past it.I don't understand, almost desperate. How can that be?"

"Durante un giro per centri commerciali decidiamo di mangiare italiano. Ci sediamo e subito vengono a prendere le ordinazioni. Personale italiano, se non sbaglio l'accento era catanese. Dalla finestrella che dava sulla cucina si riusciva a vedere la pasta utilizzata (barilla). Possibilità anche di mangiare pizza, ma abbiamo optato per i cannelloni e le lasagne. Porzioni gigantesche!!! Conto un pò salato, ma se si vuole mangiare italiano fuori è normale. Esperienza positiva"

"Ich habe mich mit einem netten Bekannten zum Kaffee und Kuchen in diesem netten Bistro verabredet. Da ich erst ggn 1514 ankam, war der Gulasch mit Nudeln für nicht mehr zu haben. Mir blieb also nur belegte Panini für oder Kuchen für übrig. Die Auswahl an dem Kuchen war noch ausreichend. Da waren 2 verschiedene Kirsch-Streusel, Käse-Mandarine und Obstkuchen hinter der Glastheke zu sehen. Ich nahm den Käsekuchen und einen Cappu und 4€ kam auf der Rechnung. So günstig hatte ich noch nie in Köln für die ähnliche Leistung bezahlt. Der Kuchen war wirklich gut. Ich werde def. nochmal vorbei kommen. Die Gulaschsuppe wartet ja noch auf mich! Und die ausgestellte luxus Autos möchten ja von mir angelotzt werden. Die 2 Dinge, die ich aber noch erwähnen muss, der Service ist an sich gut, leider als Fahrradfahrer hat man hier erstmal lang einen Stellplatz finden müssen. Er liegt zwar direkt am hinteren Eingang (wenn man aus Widderdorferstrasse kam) aber einer der super fetten Benz hat ihn verdeckt. Der 2. ist nämlich die Kundentoillette, die wirklich nicht so einladend ist. Man findet sie schwer und bei meinem heutigen Besuch war sie "ungepflegt". Sie passr wirklich nicht zu diesem sehr modernen und luxus Autohaus."
