"I've been eating schnitzel since I was a kid, so I've got some experience. Frank's does a great job and channels the spirit of the great actual German/Austrian restaurants I've been in. The schnitzel itself is large, filling the plate, and while it was very good, a bit of fresh ground pepper prior to breading it would have been a home run for me. Nonetheless, it was one of the better presentations I've had in Canada. Spaetzle were stylised but tasty...there was barely a forkful of red cabbage included, sad because it was tasty as well. The veggies, were, well...veggies, can't go wrong there! The decor is upscale and service was pleasant and attentive, and when the (owner/mgr?) came out from behind the bar, she greeted each of the tables...very nice to see. We will be back.!"

"Amazing find! We stopped here for dinner and beer on our way to Nelson. We were amazed with the menu and the presentation and quality of food. We will be stopping by everytime we're through! I had the chicken curry, my husband had the schnitzel and my son (2.5) had the mac n cheese. Rave reviews all around. There is a wide selection of beer with something for everyone. We had flights to try them all! Family friendly with a kid menu, and change table in the bathroom"
