"Stopped in on the way to Titisee for a bite to eat and was not disappointed. The building is classic Black Forest from the outside and was very inviting, inside was cosy and decorated in the local style with lots of bears!The menu is full of Black Forest specialities (deer, boar, rabbit, pork), all rustic and delicious - I had the stuffed venison with cheese and local bacon, my wife had pork with dumplings. All in all a great place to eat and will go back!"

"A true secret tip is this cozy bistro. We are only spontaneously clean at noon, as it became very cold during our hike. We were warmly welcomed and brought to the heating. After we warmed up with a goulash soup, we decided to eat in the evening. What should I say we were not disappointed. The quality of food is very good and prices are very low. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Good German food rarely so good and much eaten."

"January 2023 Room: OK, the maids clean well, it's clean, bed: mattresses worn out and uncomfortable! Bathroom: with shower, some tiles have mold and the shower curtain, well! Service: which service? Arrival/reception: The lady was nice, but the gentleman was out of sorts, I've never experienced anything so unfriendly! Breakfast buffet: nothing special, you'll be full Otherwise: no one can be reached at night! When guests have a party, that's how it is, you're on your own and can see how you get along! Sauna and pool area is neat and clean. Very negative in the pool area: the guests are given alcohol in an uncontrolled manner (the main thing is that the cash register is correct, in the morning in the entrance area it continues, of course the cash register has to be correct), the alcohol then had its effect at some point, you are harassed by the group of men, no behavior, Even minor children are harassed and that wasn't enough, one was in the pool with only a surgical mask without swimming trunks only with a surgical mask!!! Staff wasn't interested in this, I've never experienced anything like that!!! Once and definitely never again!!! The only positive thing is the beautiful location of the hotel Location: 5 stars Room: 3 stars Service: 1 star Rooms: 3 Service: 1 Location: 5"
