"Here for dinner. it took a while to get our order and then we had a very long waiting time. the hostess was more interested in entertaining her friends and was quite out of hand when we asked how long it would take to serve...as we had waited for more minutes. no professional way to treat guests. will not go back there."

"Wir haben zufällig ins Hatzlestüberl gefunden, weil unser eigentliches Restaurant schon geschlossen hatte und wurden mehr als positiv überrascht. Die Karte hat neben klassischen Gerichten auch etliche moderne Gerichte, die man in dem Ambiente eigentlich nicht erwartet hat. Preisleistung war auch sehr gut! Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker. Auch der Service war herzlich und freundlich. Gerne wieder!"

"Auf der Rückfahrt unserer Motorradtour konnte ich unseren Berliner Freunden die beste Kuchenauswahl mit riesigen Portionen (ein Stück Kuchen würde in manch anderem Cafe für 2-3 Personen reichen) zu moderaten Preisen präsentieren. Auch sie waren begeistert. Wir kommen wieder!"

"Visited here on my own on a very wet, very cold night in August and was made to feel incredibly welcome by the staff. The restaurant is set in a beautiful building part of which is used as a tourist information centre. The place itself...is a white cavernous room with wooden tables, lit by lanterns and candles. The atmosphere noisy with friendly laughter and more babies than I can ever recall seeing outside of a delivery suite. My waiter was brilliant, very helpful with good English which is more than can be said for my appalling German. Dishes are typical Bavarian and I opted for pork cooked with paprika and Bavarian noodles, sounded like Splaze, but don't quote me on that one. I had a dark beer, something I never drink, but I enjoyed it although my lederhosen felt a bit snug on the way out. I was also given a list of places to visit the next day whilst biding time waiting to pick my son up from summer school. What more could you ask for"
