"On the way to Timbuktu... The association with Timbuktu can be a little tense. For us, coming from the speculative band Stuttgart, this is an imaginary border crossing. For the rest of the interior I refer to the pictures. A lady in a reasonable (and matching clothes greeted us and left us with an arm the choice between the free tables. She almost recommended a table with the first movement we liked very well. He had a good view over the room and was still separated by a small partition to sit mentally undisturbed. Then we had a look and found that our presence should have reduced the age cut (and we are not teenagers until 10 years). The lunch card is located as a laminated DINA4 sheet on the table and on a small display a bitter lemon is advertised from our beverage card. We've never seen anything like that before. We didn't ask. The drinks were asked by the nice and very friendly and versed service lady only after a short time. The lady was a professional. Everything was fit and she had the location in the room at any time under control and view. Kindness and demand whether everything fits and taste was bound to the corresponding times. And by the way, about 10 parties were “wound”. So we ordered from the “Laminat”: Hunters Schnitzerei mit Pommes und Salat (9.80 onion roasts with roast potatoes and salad (12.90) the Gargrad was requested to order. Then there was some time to lift the premises. Cemetery Blond was the predominant hair color of the present. And it was so cozy. I could not achieve a significant noise level with the exception of working noises from the kitchen. Then the extra salads came. They looked good. And, as hoped and expected in such a house a little, each individual salad was made separately. Traditionally rather insulting than holding back, it tasted very good to me. I love it. You don't need menagerie. At the "half" of salads came the main dishes. That's right for me because I like to eat salad and not in advance. On rectangular plates they were arranged optically beautifully with two half cherry tomatoes on two corners, in which there was still a small bouquet of parsley. The carving was good. Soft enough and equipped with a delicious sauce. Small mushrooms were in the latter, but they were not shown, but only expected to be secret. It is also a hunter carving and no mushroom carving! The pommes also delicious and of more than sufficient quantity. The onion roast was a poem! Perfect in cooking and very delicate. A neat amount of fine-melted onions on it and beyond that I would always order in me. A strong sauce was what tastefully had a good part of an onion melt, then helped to deliver the lightly bright roasted potatoes. The roast potatoes fell from the excellent rust roast. That was a pity, but even the roast potatoes were basically not bad or unworn. It would have been the bathroom on the “i”. Conclusion: We enjoyed a good, sometimes even excellent meal. And that at prices that are very reserved. The facility has perhaps come a little into the years (just like the other guests and certainly not all taste, but very well maintained and clean. The service works very well and is quick and friendly. I can recommend this house with good conscience. After a kitchen trip the 4 – again happy PS: before questions come: we did not meet a Gailtaler. There's only chefs here. ;"

"Rather by chance we visited the restaurant Chausseehaus near Gaildorf. The food was delicious, the prices were fine. On this rainy day it was a bit cold in the restaurant. The owners are nice and friendly, special requests are possible at any time. The food is homemade and you taste it too. The self-made fries have convinced us. Very delicious. If we're back in the area, we'll definitely be back."
