"My husband and I chose Austin as we had previously had brilliant meals there. This was to be a special Valentines night dinner, it was a fixed menu, three course meal at over $100 per person.the entrée should have warned us of what was to come, it was cold and inedible, the main course was inedible for me and my husband's bore no resemblance at all to the menu description.I thought no one could stuff up the dessert, but I was wrong, the creme' caramel had a beautiful toffee crunch on top but the rest you could pour into a cup and drink.To add insult to injury, when I complained about my main course the waitress stopped refilling my water glass and only refilled my husband's and then we were given a $5 discount with no apology.I am not normally someone who complains but the treatment and attitude of the staff on the night caused me so much stress I will not return and I make sure all my friends are aware of the 'wonderful' Valentine's evening we experienced at this restaurant."

"Decent place for a typical pub meal, especially for larger groups. Very spacious interior, lacking atmosphere but with friendly staff. 350g rump steak was a bit chewy but good value for money given the portion size of chips and salad. Pretty decent menu overall."

"We called in for lunch over Easter with a large group. We had previously booked a table and it was waiting for us on our arrival. I had a lunch special from the blackboard menu (chicken filo, salad and chips) which was very nice. Others had a variety from wraps to fish or chicken. Everyone was happy with their meals."
