"Outside the town of Kitzingen in Lower Franconia, not far from the former airfield of the American occupation forces, the officers' home of the soldiers used to exist. An acquaintance had recommended us the place; together with a friendly couple we reserved a foursome table and returned to dinner tonight. On our arrival we were welcomed very friendly and led to our already covered table. There at the table candle was a small slate table with our name, the number of persons and the reservation time. Even the cards were already handy at the table. On a board, the tortured leaves were fixed with two wing screws; a kind of fur felt cover was sheet 1 !
