"Visitando la città di Lienz, sulla strada del ritorno, abbiamo notato questa imbiss-stube (tavola calda) con uno splendido girarrosto con dei polli di un aspetto invitante. Ci siamo fermati, il locale non è niente di che, abbastanza dimesso e gestito da persone non austriache, forse egiziani. Oltre al pollo non si può avere nient’altro, nemmeno una porzione di patatine. Birra e bibite in lattina. Il pollo è eccezionale e così ben rosolato che dopo la prima metà ne abbiamo ordinato un’altra. Se amate il pollo allo spiedo vale la pena fermarsi."

"We had very high hopes for the Moarhof. Your website gives the appearance of a very modern hotel with a focus on good food. They make a lot of their half board gourmet experience. Upon arrival the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The bar... the areas are all very nice. But the room is extremely dated, early 90s style and not what one would expect from a self-assessed 4 star hotel. We would not recommend staying here for much more than one night or two. Dinner was the biggest disappointment. Far away from a gourmet experience, the dinner remembered more of a boarding community. Three limited choices, meat, fish and vegetarians, all very basic and certainly not worthy of any positive recommendation. The worst was the fact that the main course was served with frozen spicy potato wedges of the lids. This hotel is closer to a 3 star and probably best suits people on a budget that are not too special about their food."

"Dopo 15 gg in austria dove ho trovato tutti posti splendidi e particolari finire la vacanza in questo rifugio è stato veramente deprimente. Classica esperienza di come vengono trattati(e cosiderati) male all'estero gli italiani( e Lienz è molto frequentata essendo vicina al confine e molto carina da visitare!): nella patria dello strudel questa locanda offre lo strudel del supermercato con panna della bomboletta. Un dolce presentato come una sacher non era altro che un ciambellone del super coperto di cioccolata fusa. Oltre a questo due coca cola da 33 cl e un piatto di pasta in bianco mi sono costati 22 euro! Naturalmente servizio pessimo di una cameriera che dice due parole in italiano laddove il cartello recita "parliamo italiano". La torre panoramica è una struttura di ferro che ti fa vedere al di sopra degli alberi: se non consumi paghi anche per salirci. Considerando che basta che prendi una qualsiasi cabinovia o seggiovia e ti ritrovi a guardare il panorama delle Alpi sopra i 2000 metri...Ad una coppia con un bimbo hanno chiesto 4,50 per un panino al prosciutto!!!"

"Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und der Service ist immer freundlich.Sonderwünsche sind kein Problem.Das Ambiente ist ganz angenehm, allerdings müßte das ganze Haus ein mal erneuert werden ( was aber Sache der Vermieterin und nicht der Pächter Ist)"
