"At first glance, the food may look expensive. But let me tell you, it's worth it! I ordered the pork tenderloin set meal. I loved that the rice and cabbage shreddings were refillable! There was also miso soup included plus some fruit. My hungry tummy and katsu cravings were definitely satisfied! <br>

"Really love this place. I came here already many times ti spend time with the staff who are super friendly. The bread is very authentic and the pretzels are extremely good. I already took a lot of friends with me here who all enjoyed their time. The platter with the cold cuts is the perfect base for the german beer."

"Tonkatsuya is a small Japanese restaurant on the lower level of the Palm Tower in Makati. This place is actually Japanese owned so their dishes were really authentic. Since I was craving tonkatsu late last year, we decided to try their version of the latest food craze. Similar to Yabu, they also offer various Katsu menus, such as Tonkatsu Set, Miso Katsu Set, Oroshi Katsu Set, Cheese Katsu Set and Chicken Katsu Set. These food seats come with Japanese rice, miso soup, and bean sprouts. The prices were relatively much cheaper than in Yabu, but I think the pork in Yabu is a bit thicker. Overall, the tonkatsu was good here too. This is a restaurant that people should try if they want to try something different."
