"We were looking for a place to have dinner after 21:00 on a Sunday, which is not easy in Quedlinburg. The Bärenschenke offered us a full hot dinner, without a problem. I had white asparagus, with ham, which were delicious."

"Yet a chic, stylish local with Italian espressobar and Mediterranean modern elements as well as rustic vault. the concept of pre-operators to offer qualitatiw high-quality Mediterranean cuisine and small things that protrude from the anhaltinian unit brewery has failed. the new operators with a regional experience in gastronomy retain the proven beverages, the spatial features and the terrace, but now in the kitchen they are always on the more lush locally accepted ostalgies and almost everywhere. a fine change less in the city. we tried out and looked back at the place that is also humanly a bit grounded. friendly burschikos bond; our space lacks free outside spaces alone in the cellar arch. an iron seasonal sparing announced on the outer table as well as the usual regional home cooking with some curious rough carvings like the spaghetti and cheese baked pigeon. we chose the pork “Schnitzel Würzfleisch” with hearty spices and goat cheese baked, with potato corners and fresh garden salad (16.50€) as well as carving with spaten (cold about 250g, salt potatoes and brown butter (15.50 €). the finely prepared flour was on the table after almost 30min; until then we drove with krombacher (0,4l 3,70€ water (0,2l 2,20€) and a neat thurgau (0,2l 4,30€ . Now what should I say: neat rustic house cooking quite lush and less subtle. well cut, but sometimes little individually also with regard to spice. a neat piece of meat without any adjustments in the first case with old seasoned meat and if I cooked myself I cannot judge (3.5* the economic ok very natural as well as the little seasoned (normal salt potatoes with good butter sauce (3*. facs: beautiful environment, solid gastronomy, nice people but not more expensive are sold here."

"“A café in 7 houses” It stands above the entrance door of Café Roland, in the centre of Quedlinburg at Marktkirchhof. Of course, this has awakened our curiosity. If you look from the entrance directly into the wide street, you can see interconnected semi-concrete houses. Are they? When you enter the café, the view immediately falls on the cake counter, which shows seductive offers, including the “Quedlinburger Pfarrhaustorte”. On request from the maid who is the special thing in this cake, she believes that it is similar to a sachet place, only better because they contain nuts and plums (which I do not like at all). The price for a piece of cake is between € 3.90 and € 4.20. My question whether I can look at the seven houses was answered with a friendly “Very happy!”. The rooms are distributed over the ground and over several old, lovingly restored houses from the 16th and 17th centuries. century that were not originally connected. On the 50 meter long path you can look left and right into the mares, rooms and niches. Each small room has its own style with different sofas, tables and chairs. Sometimes in a niche there is only a small table with two chairs, sometimes a cozy old sofa. Here all find their favorite place. The individual seats are beautiful and individually designed. There is always something new to discover, because each room has its own face. You can go through the cake counter in the first house to the sofa paradise in the seventh and also come past the kitchen and bakery and overlook your shoulder to the chef and to the confectioner. Everywhere old devices, decorations, photos, pictures, on the walls, on the windows, but only on this sideboard. They seem to be in Uroma's living room. Everything works clean and this is only possible with a lot of time. The second cup of coffee in the afternoon was due, I got it very fast and it tasted just as good as the one in the tree cake café. Another short view of the menu: The kitchen is floor-to-ceiling (e.g. Schnitzel) and focuses on various refined breads/lays. Recommendation: A must go through the whole restaurant once"

"We had dinner in this small boutique restaurant on the upper floor. They have a selection of dishes, which are served on decorative crockery and were delicious. Also the wines, which can be ordered by glass, were well selected. The waiter has a rough charme..., which is typical for this region. His humor can be easily mistaken as ridicule, if one is not used to this direct and frank approach. Prices are moderate : between per main course. We would come again."

If you don't have any humour and want to be blunt as on the ski hut, you have to go somewhere else. We found it great and like to come back!"
