"Our hotel in Scuol did not have a dinner service, but had dining agreements with nearby restaurants. Since this was a short walk, we chose the Fillis and were so glad we did! The first night we chose regional dishes such as capuns and venison....Capuns were totally new to us and delicious! Nice wine list with Swiss choices. We like to drink local, and you can't get these very nice wines in the States. Since it was so good we went back the next night for the set dinner, while not Swiss was equally good. Great job on the Thai red curry! Pairs nicely with a crisp Swiss white. Wonderful place, highly recommend!"

"Villa Maria is a restaurant in the small village of Vulpera, closed to Scoul. The restaurant is very nice (so lovely decoration with a lot of angels and warm atmosphere), quiet and comfortable. The staff don’t speak a goos english but they was always very kind and they tried to speak a litte Italian to explain the dishes. The food was delicious. The presentation of the dishes is also very nice. We order a mixed salad to start and a main dish (Wiener Schnitzel and fillet). Expensive for Italian standard not for swiss. Sorry if my English is not perfect but I am not English mother tongue."
