"Came here once for breakfast once for dinner while in the Gold Coast. For breakfast I got the 'pitaya smoothie bowl ' and the presentation was amazing perfect for photos. It also tasted really fresh fruity. For dinner I got the 'crispy chicken burger ' which was alright and then for dessert we got the 'apple pie fries ' the 'rich chocolate brownie ' which were the highlights of our meal. My family and I loved the desserts, they tasted so good. Recommend going here for breakfast for sure and dinner is alright but not amazing."

"We had the garlic prawns and the Beetroot & roast pumpkin salad and both were delicious and complimented each other! Accompanied with a delicious Pinot Grigio from the menu was absolutely delicious. Wait staff was wonderful also. Will be back!"

"Lives on the coast for some time and have eaten in many places, but WOW had only the ribs for dinner here and everything I can say is OMG. They wanted to die! The portion size itself was enough for two (even if I had half a rack) and they were so fleshy and tender and no matter how much I wanted, I could not finish them. So the food without question gets an eleven out of ten, but then the staff, well I must say, also get an 11 out of 10. They were friendly, greeted you with smiles and could have a conversation. Not even our drinks came down without having a friendly face to ask if we want another drink. I, we, would definitely recommend Central to anyone visiting the beautiful Surfers Paradise."

"Interesting place in this boutique shopping centre. Classes itself as a bakery but I'm not sure it is. And it's not really a sandwich shop. And - well it's not a restaurant.Maybe a cafe! However the milkshake was very good. The Panko schnitzel sandwich was ok but it was toasted. Maybe I overlooked that but I expected a "sandwich".Nice little seating area but I had to clean table myself. I asked for a serviette "to clean the table" and I got one! Thought they might say "oh I'll do that"!The staff seemed pleasant but there was little engagement. They will have to improve with the competition they have in this trendy spot."

"Expectations were high as we eat at La Porchetta in Hobart. The son ordered spaghetti bolognese which he said was just ok -actually didn't finish eating it which was unusual). Husband and I shared the chicken and avocado fettuccine pasta. Not much chicken in...it, but, full of Avacado. We shared a pizza with the lot. Only had one slice as the toppings were cut so thick you could not enjoy it especially the thickness of the capsicum and mushrooms. Service was quick and friendly."

"Most of the staff are rude with what seems minimal people skills. Long waits for everything including something as simple as a glass of water. Food is just okay. The mango smoothie was so bad I took one sip and didn’t touch it again. Extremely...outdated, unkept and unprofessional looking."

"Had a 5:30 reservation for a family meal with grandparents, which I had booked 3 months prior and had the confirmation email. They didn’t have our reservation and placed us at a table with bar stools with no regard for the grandparents comfort or ease of sitting. It was so loud we couldn’t talk. Food was very average. No one finished their meals. We came from Melbourne and had researched best family meals to avoid this kind of experience. Would never go back for a family experience. Very disappointed."
