"We 're from Dallas and we met a good friend of ours who lives in Abilene who highly suggested this place. And it was a home run. We had deviled eggs over a spicy remoulade topped with fried crawfish with jalapeño slices, ahi tuna crusted with bicolor seasame seeds and seared rare sliced on the bias served over a bed of Thai-vinaigrette-tossed lo mein noodles, dressed with edamame, avocado, watermelon radishes, and Spring onions, along with bacon wrapped quail, perfectly seasoned Brussels sprouts, along with copious amounts of local brew. By far above and beyond typical run-of-the-mill bar food, being that it is chef owned and operated. Speaking of which, the chef came over and spoke with us for a few minutes as well. Super sharp and with great people skills 'topped off ' no pun intended with his culinary talent. There will most definitely be a sequel here when were back in the area. ..."

"One of the best experiences in Abilene I 've ever had. I have been visiting this chain way back before this facility chooses during the first part of COVID. I was so happy that reopened. I Love their steaks. Always cooked exactly as ordered and the taste is exceptional. As we entered we were led back to the treat of the seating area. At first I thought and actually shared with the lady who seated us, What did I do to get sent to the back of the class room we day there for a few minutes before anyone arrived to take out drink orders. And out of nowhere came this beautiful personality with a smile to die for beating hot fresh rolls. Hey name is Symia. So when you visit this establishment ask of she is on shift and request her area with total confidence. The food was amazing, fresh and extremely well seasoned. I was so impressed with her service I had to share me experience with her manager. This is a must visit Steak House in Abilene Texas."

"First, we live in Lubbock, but if we are anywhere close to Abilene, we always stop here. Best fried chicken on the planet. We have been 100% satisfied with the quality, flavor, and service provided, every time we have come. I can’t recommend this place enough. To all the people crying because Belles has rules and the same way of doing business for everyone, go somewhere else if you don’t like it. To the folks who cry because it’s so expensive, I’m pretty sure KFC and Church’s still operates in Abilene, if a $5 fried chicken meal is what you expected. Judging from the crowds every time we go, they’ll be ok whether the bitchers and moaners eat there or not."

"I had high hopes for the beehive restaurant. Ultimately I was disappointed. We ordered the prime rib, medium well and it came out lukewarm. It's alot of meat and I'm sure some would love it. To me it was pretty bland and definitely not worth the price. The roll that came with it was hard as a rock. I will say my baked potato, salad, and spinach dip was great. The service was amazing, our waitress and all serving staff were awesome. The atmosphere not so much. You sit so close to other guests that you can't even hear the person you are with speaking. Overall I probably would recommend it to anyone who loves meat and hope to go back one day to try sometimes lighter like a hamburger or something. We shall see."
