"There is a fair choice of restaurants in the old town of Bad Toelz, but sometimes a pleasant walk to the other side of the river and a slight detour via the beautiful Kurpark will help to work up a healthy appetite. You’ll need it at the Schlossl in the Schuetzenstrasse. The restaurant boasts a pleasant atmosphere and the excellent Ayinger beer. Though you will not enter a gourmet heaven, the food we have had here over the past years was always well prepared and nicely presented. However, a little smile from the waitress would make all the difference, but what do I know about other peoples troubles. As I said before, you need to be hungry to order the Riesenschnitzel (EUR 12.80, pork), in fact there were two schnitzels on the plate, plenty of pommes-frites and side-plate of fresh mixed salad. Not all Schnitzels in Bad Toelz compare well with this offering. Go for it! Furthermore, there is a good choice of wines and of course the agreeable Ayinger beer to accompany your meal. Unfortunately, I will have to deduct one star for the indifferent service. As a paying guest, I like to be made welcome, looked after, even spoiled - it would make such a difference to the otherwise good meal."

"I'm glad he's open again. We were very happy about it. Service is super beautiful and flink. We already knew the team from another restaurant and were very happy to see you again. The Knödl Carpaccio was great, only the carvings could have been a bit more crisp, otherwise everything was very delicious."

"I was in the ratskeller to eat. I can't really recommend it before location. first was called by all the place already available in the food. I chose another supplement to eat mine. I realized that I had to pay additional certificates. it has been in the menu, a note of the personal would have been more customer-friendly. so I win the impression: there is a lot of money, the tourist does not come back. no good sign for bad tölz!"
