"Conveniently located at the base station of the Belalp Ascension, this is a place to go if you happen to be there. I remember that many years ago they tried to serve good food, but now they take care of all the needs of the person who travel through. The waiters are clearly partly seasonal; and possibly also the cook. The interior is pretty, modernized and yet outside the shelf. The Valais plate as a local dish, good, could have been much better, as in the Channa, in Brig, despite a similar price. The cheese fondue was ok, like most other places. Leaf, however, is not far enough from the route to guarantee the prices for the medium quality in the offer."
