"Love love love the dim sum here, especially the egg tart and rice rolls. Surprisingly the roast duck is one of the nicest in town too! Even though some might find the owner/manager to be intimidating, I find her quite the typical person from Hong Kong, straightforward and honest. She can be quite fun when you get to know her."

"Been going to this restaurant with family for nearly years. I am not a South Perth or Como resident but will drive to the Golden Mile because the food, ambience and service has always been a “Golden” Chinese standard and inviting for its multivarious food options. It warms my heart and brings back fond memories during every visit. It is a wonderful restaurant for families and the family who own and run the Golden Mile are lovely people who like seeing children. Go there and take family with you for a night off cooking at home."

"It's the little things that were missing. The chicken salad was delicious, with dainty pomegranate seeds and dressing. It was so nice in fact that we wanted to take the leftovers home. I asked for a container and it was just no deal. I find that odd. Most places have the option. We also asked for side plates to share and got one only, which I also found odd. I won't be rushing back but the food was so yum that I might be swayed."

"This is a nice spot for cake and drinks. They have a range of matcha, hojicha and black sesame drinks and cakes. Out of the few cakes I tried, I liked the triple matcha cake the best. The earl grey and black sesame soufflé cheesecakes were okay in flavour but the texture was a bit on the dry side. The matcha opera cake was more intense in the chocolate flavour compared to matcha."

"If you like to pay $23 each for your two sirloin steaks to be blackened and charcoaled on one side and presented on the plates burnt side down, then I highly recommend the Mt Henry. Topped off with a delicious cold sauce on top, I now remember why it's been 10 years since my last visit to this establishment."
