"We had two delicious meals here The food was fantastic, cooked to perfection Between the meals couples two nights) we never had the same dish twice, all the meals were amazing I can highly recommend this place, especially for a nice out either...as a couple of with friends My one criticism it that the restaurant wasn’t very warm, it was quite chilly, and unfortunately the team on site were unable to do anything. This may because the restaurant is directly of the reception seating area and that is eighth next to the front door which keeps opening and closing letting the cold in, not nice at all I would like to compliment the staff, all of whom were friendly and very professional Great lively atmosphere"

"Eat as good as it will! we had an amazing night in the palfrey, the atmosphere was great, but eating was even better, I can not recommend it enough, I had the melted broth as starter, hate brown for porn (best I ever tried) for the desert their deconstructed cheesecake. the best meal I had for a while in a restaurant. to maintain the great work!"

"Usually don't write reviews for restaurants however last night was meal that amazing I couldn't help but not! service absolutely impeccable the waitress gave us the opportunity to sit outside to enjoy the view and then come back in when we were cool, which was great. eating and drinks were served quickly, which was given the fact that they were busy. my soul trout was the best fish I ever had, and my other half had lammed, which was incredibly tender. between the curses the table was cleaned for us and as we demanded the bill, the waitress offered us a taxi to book if we needed one. will come back in any case!"

"Newly refurbished, so everywhere shiny and new. Pleasant contemporary decor Waitress was friendly, and cheerful I hadn't chosen a starter. Waiting time between starters being cleared away and mains being served was longer than would normally expect Chose the chicken and barley main. Meal was...well presented, plenty of chopped fresh herb to make it appear appetising. Sadly the chicken tasted bland and the accompanying wild mushroom sauce lacked depth of flavour. Absence of vegetables was a disappointment For dessert I had opted for the steamed lemon sponge pudding and custard. The sponge looked appealing, presented on a pretty glass platter and was served with a separate small jug of custard, The custard was creamy and tasty but appeared curdled. The sponge was light but not particularly lemony. I enquired whether the sponge had been microwaved as the centre was hard as though it had been microwaved for too long Pleasant enough lunch but not so enjoyable that I would rush back. My general observation was that the food looked better than it tasted. Car parking was available down on the main road. It could be difficult access via steps for anyone less mobile. Exiting car park was tricky due to the stone wall obscuring visibility of the road"

"We use it at work for a nearby takeaway. It's great. Food is always tasty and hot. Never had a problem with the order. Ring it through and it's ready in 5 mins. Yes that's 5 mins. Prices are comparable locally. Can't fault it. Recommend...the crispy beef in Kung po sauce !"

"Beautiful full English breakfast today as usual. great start to the day of my birthday. such high quality food cooked to time after the time, every time! hot eating, warm plate and excellent, courtier service. love eating here and worth every penny. we also had a few lattes and if I really struggle to find a mistake, a smaller one would be that I want them to be much warmer and my second asked to be hotter, but it can only be their machine as this can be common at some places I order coffee. this was a very low disorder, although on an otherwise excellent food experience. I'm looking forward to my next visit! lisa jeans competitors are nowhere near any level."

"I had root plants tagine that was a few slices of butternut quash, some cubes of jazz then only cricket and swirl in a fat tomato sauce. I would expect there to be more root vegetables! my man had the tart that was almost gummy....He mentioned it to the waitress, showed her some of the tart and asked if it should be. she said she would ask the cook, but she didn't mention anything about him for the rest of the evening. I ordered a chocolate brew for dessert, which was served without chocolate sauce, as it is listed on the menu. since it was served without the sauce, was very dry. we didn't want to complain for the second time, we just decided not to go back. I am aware that if we have said something, then we may have to wait until the meal is redissolved and we wanted to eat together. there was really a lack of vegan options a choice that was an salat. I have seen that this has been treated in previous posts that go back a few years, but seems nothing to do with it."
