"I went in to Outback in Desoto on Wednesday 8/17 and ordered a ribeye steak, baked potato and a side salad for myself and a kids meal for my son. My server was Dre and the service was fine however the food was not so great. My steak was dried out and I asked for Medium well. Well I ate some of the steak and some of my other food and a few hours after I made it home I got so sick. I was running from both ends and I know it came from the food I ate at outback. I don't know if they mishandled my food or what they did but I was very sick. I am 5 months pregnant so that caused even more of a concern for me. I was sick the next day as well. I called outback the following evening to let them know about what happened to see how they could rectify the issue because I spent a decent amount on food and left overs that I was not able to eat. I spoke with Ginger Stephens who told me she would let the owner know and try to rectify the issue. Ginger took my name and number and said she was going to have the owner call me the next morning. I never heard anything from the owner the next day so I waited until the evening before I called back. I called back and was placed on hold and never got to speak to a manager. I called a 2nd time and was placed on hold and never got a manager again. I am very disappointed in the follow up from management and the poor quality of food that I received because it could have been very bad for me and my unborn child and the lack of follow up did not sit right with me. I had not been to outback in a few years but I had a friend who spoke highly of this location so I tried it out for dinner and what a big mistake I made"

"The workers were so busy dancing and enjoying themselves in the back they didn’t realize 10 people were up front waiting for over 10 minutes. In addition the sign is so small you’re not even sure you’re in the right location, food takes entirely too long to be cooked. 40 minutes for a fried pork chop. Service: 1"

"Ray's is our go to bbq spot in Desoto. They have delicioussss baked potatoes! There's nothing that compares to them. Make sure you call and order those ahead of time as they take a while to cook or are sometimes even sold out. The barbecue sauce is well seasoned and tasty. The turkey legs are steaming hot so be careful. The workers are kind and try to get to know their customers. The place is small, but there are plenty of booths and tables to dine in."
