"Ordered 2 times from this restaurant. First time was delayed delivery, but we gave another chance this time. Happened the same thing. Waited more than 1 hour for 2 pizza! Obviously it was cold. Pizza size was smaller than before which was very disappointing as sizes are not appearing on the menu. Not recommended. Service: Delivery Meal type: Lunch"

"Popped in for impromptu lunch. Lucky to get a table in this busy restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive and the roast offered was delicious. We waited a little for our favourite meat to be replenished and enjoyed the great range of vegetable dishes. Perfect lunch."

"What a great discovery!! If I lived in Gravesend, I'd be in here on a weekly basis. The White Eagle serves Central European food and drink perfect with Autumn approaching. Please look beyond the straightforward appearance, both outside and in, and enjoy the cosiness of very well prepared country cuisine. It is honest and straightforward with great balance in the seasoning. Do try the Zurek soup in the bread bowl it is fantastic (filling). The staff are cheerful and helpful. I'm giving five stars, because it delivers perfectly what it sets out to be. Congratulations to the owner and to the chef bravo!!!"
