"Last year we were in bad knottingen and wanted to visit the eagle as recommended by the dame that we were with. we have never rounded to be last year, but this time have done the labor. it is 25 minutes walk from the city centre. the waitress was very friendly and although she could not speak English and very little German she made us very welcome. we had seen the Pfifferling menus at some places and not really know what this was the waitress brought the beautiful orange/bellied mushroom out of the kitchen to show us. the crispy fresh salads were served and they had a beautiful dressing that made them very tasty, my one had to try the pork with pfifferling, which he said was delicious. we really enjoyed our eating and the only thing I would say is that the adler is a bit more expensive than other restaurants, but eating was really excellent."
