"We were staying in Hope recently and picked up our picnics and lunches here several days running. Everything was lovely but we'd particularly recommend the spinach and ricotta pastry, the sausage rolls and the Bakewell tart/pudding. The staff were really friendly and I was especially touched by how patient they were with my (adult) daughter who is autistic and has a learning difficulty."

"One of the best meals i’ve ever had, turkey was cooked well and there was a good amount of stuffing and cranberry sausage. chips were cooked perfectly and the gravy was amazing!! sister had the pulled pork and cheese baguette, she really enjoyed it also came with a nice side salad. fruits reasonably priced and latte was super nice. will be back"

"This place is for Indian food in the heart of the old glossop. it is probably one of the oldest in glossop and has successfully combined with one inder, so make sure they are in front of the phone or they can wait a long time to sit. they take away too."

"To stay here recently and it is the perfect location for hiking/hiking around the summit. the room was brilliant and had everything we needed. very spacious and the beds were comfortable. grey has changed my request for a double into a twin. we did not eat here, but we had breakfast and it was enough to set ourselves up for a day of hiking. I will stay again, even if the stairs at the top almost make her legs fall haha"

"Absolutely top notch dining experience in ithaca. they highly recommend a table as other potential diners that had not booked were turned away. kind, warm welcome at arrival, delicious food and good service, what else do you need? there is an extensive menu and it was difficult to choose, as there were so many beautiful dishes, so as a compromise we chose a main dish and then added 4 appetizers and a part of the fret. all cooked to perfection and full taste. full plates to empty plates tell them everything they need to know. overall a super culinary experience and can not expect to visit again no hesitation in the recommended, enjoy!"

"Amazing food and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Thank you for the extra padding for the high chair. We really enjoyed our meal and will be returning again soon. Parking: As the pub is situated in a small village, there aren't always parking spaces available straight away right by the pub. But usually there are spaces around the area a short walk away.
