"This place is legit. We stopped in as we were driving through town. Just up the street is a historic gas station that has been converted to free EV charging. We at lunch while I topped off. I had the polish sausage, my son got catfish and my daughter got mac and cheese. My son's meal was the star of the show. They were willing to cut the catfish into nugget sized pieces before they breaded it. There's not much seating inside. We got lucky because another family was leaving the one table right as we arrived. Their TV is about the size of the total table space for the restaurant. I will definitely stop in again when I come through town."

"Cool atmosphere with many tvs. the staff was friendly and punctual to put us. I had the grilled garnel filled ananas and some others had the cats. all commented how good that was eating, not mentioning hot and fresh from the grill. the price was good for the amount of food they got. the staff was a little slow, so minus a star there, especially for the crowds that are inside. definitiw suggests all franchise chain restaurants in the opposite but highly recommended."

"I am an extremely hard person to please when it comes to bbq. I am from Alabama and we honestly have some great bbq so my expectations were extremely high. I can can wholeheartedly say that the Wood Shed surpassed my expectations. I got a pulled pork sandwich, tater tots, and cabbage. The pulled pork was season through and through, not just the skin. It was a great portion size as well so it is filling. Now let's talk about this cabbage. It was so good as a side that I went back and got a pint of it! "

"It was here. Not bad. It's a meat and three. The younger lady who is a member runs everywhere and tries to keep you happy. The fried pork and the vegetables were good. My wife got breakfast and the bacon was ready. No big deal. The coconut pineapple cake was good. The owner appreciates your business and tries to please you. I liked this place. I'm going back."

"This was our first visit to this restaurant in Hopkinsville. We had called to see if they took reservations, we have special seating needs. Even though they did not take reservations, upon arrival and explaining the needs to the hostess, she pulled out a note alongside the counter at the entrance that the hostess we talked to earlier had written to them. The manager was aware of our needs and had apparently made sure they could accommodate them. With that level of customer service, the excellent quality of the food, the service at the table, and the very reasonable price we paid for dinner, they have guaranteed our return patronage."
