"For Australians, its normal. Not cheap. Not expensive. Ive been eating in Japan and i noticed food is cheaper here. 5 skewers each plate but its small whereas the other place across the river 2 skewers but its bigger. So its hard to compare. I judge that this place is slghtly expensive. The bbq guy was working hard, he was sweating. Hopefully not on the food. Its lively, interesting to watch"

"Owner is super nice and even gives yiu recommendations on sightseeing spots. One vegan ramen dish and the gyoza can also be vegan. It's a nice thing to do if you are sightseeing in kyoto, they even take a video of you while they set it on fire. (8/24 don't know why it currently states its temporary closed, opening hours are correct to the ones you find on Google."

"Super friendly and accommodating staff! I accidentally spilled all my mistsuppet and they replaced her. we had goya champuru set (which with rice, suppe and small vegetable beside dish) and veggie taco rice. everything was delicious and very full. also the okinawan lemon cheese cake is perfectly tried! Salsa music in the background ended that 'island vibes' and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant."

"Very nice ramen restaurant in a next street of kiyamachi. it is a nice and friendly, open decorated restaurant. the personal was beautiful and service super fast. I have the regular no1 ramen with double noodles and more pork. they can also choose whether they want thick or thin nuds and the amount of prokfat in the suppe. it was very good, I really loved the taste of suppe and also the gay was soft and oishii. the double noodles were so much that I had problems eating everything. I recommend this place really!."

"On our first night in kyoto on a return trip wifey and I came here at 9pm since the line was way too long earlier. the pork cutlet is so delicious and not oily, tenderloin is naturally more tender, loin is chewier. miso soup is godly and rice is good as well, both of them can be refilled. shredded cabbage is also very fresh. two people set menu price 3840yen. last order at 9.30pm, definitely avoid the crowds during 6-7.30pm"
