So, I should point out that I noticed in reading reviews before choosing Joeys Kendal Tavern this week, two themes: it is a great little hometown bar, and they have fantastic burgers. Check and check. It's like someone wrapped a WTGW pick for our group. Well, except the whole my-commute-to-work-downtown-is-actually-shorter-the-drive-hie thing... but whatever. Hunger will travel. This is one of our unspoken mottos."

"This was absolutely the best steak house I have ever been to! Drove 45 minutes to try it and it was definitely worth the drive. Even at five dollars a gallon) Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Atmosphere was chill and casual but classy all at the same time. I started with the crab stuffed mushrooms and they were the best mushroom...so fresh and mouth watering. I got the Ribeye steak with the rosemary garlic butter and gordonzola cream because well I'm fat ... My friend and I split the brussel sprouts and the parmesan risotto. I can not say this enough but this meal was so fresh and superb. I highly recommend this place."

"Massillon is well known for high school football, but it's also a craft beer mecca thanks to Paradigm Shift. I came to sample many of the beers, which were above average quality! The regulars are passionate about their town, and the service made you feellike you were at home. Lily was fantastic and knowledgeable about the beers! If you're into smoked beer, I highly recommend theRauch and Roll! Finally, get some beers to go while you're at it. Three 32 oz cans will run you $30 well worth it!"
