"The mushrooms with goat cheese on toast and the hot cakes here. it is all part of a new breakfast menu at smoult’s and there was a pretty buzz when we were there. the mushrooms and goats were good, but not excellent. the mushrooms were solid and the brot was crisp. unfortunately I must say that it is overpriced, the addition of another egg or another aspekt to the court it may be worth the money as well as the pancakes were nice but small paid for the carry. they were very well plated and tasted good, but that in itself do not justify the $18 price day it is a decent brunch/brochure. eating while good is not particularly excellent, nor are the prices reasonable...read more"

"Don't be put off by the cheap furniture, ordinary shopfront and dodgy location. They do really great japanese food with big portions which is often rare for this cuisine. Most mains cost around which is a bargain in the area. They are...usually very quick and i would say the service is good. One thing i find funny is that if you ask for chilli in the dish they refuse to add it in when cooking and only offer it to you in a neat little container at the end free of charge, its a bit irritating but just one of those things i think."

"Wow what a fantastic lunch menu!, the coffee is top notch!!! We debated about coming back for dinner, some of the other customers meals looked fantastic, i wanted to try everything !!!Food and beverage prices were good, service was great! "Have tried dining in and take out over the past few years. ERRATIC is all I can come up with. They hit the mark with vegetarian spring rolls and usually their lemon chicken satisfies BUT every other dish (ordered by various diners) has been a bit hist and miss. That being said - their fried ice cream is fabulous and certainly a "guilty pleasure" that leads us to forgive our less than great opinions of other dishes. It is in a very handy location and staff are usually pleasant so maybe give it a go if you want a decent fix of chinese"

"We visited this restaurant last night using a Groupon voucher. The decor was modern and stylish and the service was friendly and pleasant. Our entrees of satay chicken skewers and mushroom dumplings and were both very tasty. My main was the green chicken curry and it was absolutely delicious. My husband's chicken with sweet chilli and cashew nuts was also great and our 10 year old son's mild chilli beef with black bean was very nice. All our dishes were not overly spicy, which was just how we liked it. We were too full for dessert so we will have to try it next time. We will definitely be back!"
