"Invited down from the city we arrived reluctantly to a large family gathering. We went as a family of 5 to join the table of 17 set up near the fire which was a gorgeous touch amidst the trees and outside on the lawns and gardens. We had heard nothing on the place at all so were delighted at the magical Sunday arvo atmosphere which was enhanced by the mellow live music, wonderful food and good service provided by a team of country hearted staff who got the job done whilst or littlies ran amuck out in the paddocks nearby."

"Many restaurants would like 5 stars just for opening their doors. As customers, going out means it should be special. And Coriole did prove to be special for us. Booking was easy on line. When we arrived the restaurant was full. It was wintry day...but the room was warm and inviting. We were greeted immediately and shown to our table, right next to the window, with the panoramic view before us. Warmth from the well placed heater ensured we were comfortable. Our waiter was very friendly and explained everything clearly, and also checked for any food preferences, even though it was a set menu. We had the 5 course lunch tasting with the accompanying wine. Each course was a celebration of local produce, much of it from on site. It was therefore entirely seasonal. The service was very friendly, whilst discreet. No butting into your conversation. All the courses were well presented. The presented meals were imaginative, and exceptional. The meals were not oddball, and rather were very well prepared by a chef that has skill and palate, and no longer has to suffer the confines of more traditional menus. I think a considerable amount of effort goes into getting every detail right, and doing so in a full restaurant, was exceptional, and so felt it was very good value. If you are into regional, seasonal food Coriole should be on your list."

"This place has some good reviews but we found the food to be no better than our local pub which charges half the price. For tasty imaginative fare it is better to go to one of the excellent winery restaurants where the surroundings are peaceful sauces are made fresh by experienced chefs."

"Sunday lunch, table of 4 with friends. Lovely spot with great views was just the beginning! Friendly, attentive service from very knowledgeable staff. Very creative menu with lots of nice little touches, we had the set price 3 courses which my wife and I shared each course as we normally do so we can try as many different things as possible. The food was just sensational, I'm not normally that big on presentation because it's all about the flavors and textures for me, but this was absolutely top shelf on all accounts. From the chefs to the table staff these people are passionately invested and it shows, very well done to all."
