"I wanted to love this place as Hamilton really needs an authentic southern smokehouse and Saltlick is close but not quite there yet.<br/ <br/ The service was friendly though somewhat of an afterthought. As for the food itself: fried chicken was tasty, the ribs were OK. Slightly underdone, as it took a little too much force to get them off the bone (although I'd much rather have them served like this than overcooked and completely fall of the bone). <br/ <br/ The brisket.... So close! Cooked perfectly, by why ruin all those hours of slow cooking and fat rendering, by covering up the smokey flavor with far too much sub par BBQ sauce. <br/ <br/ Keep doing what you're doing, but let the smoke speak for itself and put the sauce on the side where it belongs."

"Had a late lunch here and would return for dinner sometime. Large and well decorated space. Food was good but not my favorite. Fish was good but too bony and therefore hard to eat."

"I'm here twice. The first time I loved the sandwich I had (Turkey with Pesto) I repeated the sandwich again, but it just wasn't the same. It was much richer and a bit hard to eat the whole thing. All in...but this is a cool little place and they have some really interesting sandwiches."

"Very good burger and fries. There was only one other person seated Yet the service was very slow. Unfortunately that other person was a vegetarian nutbar! She was yelling and insulting me. I asked to be moved to another table but that just had the server confused. Still I must admit the food was really good. I might give it another chance Someday,,,"

"I was stoked to find a ramen place in Hamilton that looked good, but was sadly disappointed with my meal. I order the chicken ramen and onion rings. The onion rings were delicious! The sad thing though is that this isn't an onion rings place, it's a ramen place. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my ramen literally had no flavour at all. To make sure it wasn't my nose being stuffed or something I had my brother try it, and he was mind blown at how it tasted like nothing.The staff is super nice though. The atmosphere is great. The food is not really worth it in my opinion, especially if you're using it as a cheat meal you won't leave happy."
