"I wanted to love this place. What a beautiful restaurant. We were referred by the concierge at our resort when we could not contact another restaurant that was closed for the season. Our dinner started out so well. We had 2 servers who were extremely attentive. We ordered the calamari as our appetizer and my husband ordered a Sicilian Kiss and I got a chocolate martini. They were very generous with the alcohol, so we were feeling good. I was so excited about the Osso Buco I had seen it on their website and it sounded amazing. I don't eat a lot of meat anymore, but since it was served with risotto, I was willing to make an exception. I was about halfway through my dish when I found not one, not 2, but 3 hairs. Short. Dark hairs. We call a server over who quickly apologized and took my plate away. A few minutes later our main server returns with my same plate (minus the hairs) and tells me the hairs were from the cow, not my hair, not the chef's or anyone elses and that my entree would be free. At this point I had lost my appetite and told them to pack up my food. I regret doing that since we were not buying that the hairs came from the veal. It looked like human hair. They were extremely apologetic and even gave us a free crepe dessert. At the end of our meal when my husband asked for the bill is when things started to get weird. Instead of comping my dish, they gave us a 20% discount which roughly is half the price of my entree. What happened to free? If they did not want to comp my dish, they shouldn't have said they would OR they should have at least made another one for me. We ended up paying for a dish that I didn't get to eat. At least my family got to eat all of their food. I left very disappointed and hungry but I lost my appetite anyway. "

"We were looking for lunch and most places were closed. we found this one by chance and decided to try it. we were very happy. it was one of the best meal we've been here since! there were 4 of us and we tried the chicken tacos, cattle tacos, pig tacos and quesadillas. it was all amazing and cheap! the people who work were amazing and offered us constantly dings to try and spend time to answer our questions! this is a great place to lunch! Don't miss it!"

"We were four couples, most meals of garnel, huh and fish were very good or excellent. only one party was disappointed when he ordered chicken breasts with maul sauce and got a chicken bone he doesn't like. as he...explained, they said they were out of the breast. they should've told him before they cooked his orders. he ate it anyway, but was not satisfied. fried snapper was excellent with great presentation. mahi mahi with her home sauce was also very good."

"We stopped in here the other night after attending the Dia de los muertos celebration at the local college. They had been handing out fliers at the event... All right, parking is a bit awkward and sparse, so we actually drove right by the place...trying to find it. Thankfully it's just u-turn away, and may I say that it's well worth a second time around... We were greeted enthusiastically and warmly at the door, chose a table towards the back, ordered a couple of different Agua del dia (water of the day) and a few different Mexican specialty beers that were delicious and not the normal corona and pacifico variety. Then we proceeded to order a bunch of different stuff to sample and taste... pork belly tacos, empanadas, papas bravas, pepito arrachera, and even some grilled vegetables to make ourselves feel better about everything else we were eating! And yes, even those were delicious! Our waiter Gamaliel took great care of us and made some great recommendations. Finished it all off with a brownie and ice cream, and of course we had to try the flan... Why, because every restaurant serves their own slightly different, special version of this national treasure. Naturally it was delicious. Four people well fed for 687 pesos, great experience, highly recommended and definitely worth another fly-by next time we're out that way. Provecho! Enjoy."
