"Anyone who has already traveled by car from Munich to Garmisch will have noticed Robert Schotten in the former post office in Oberau. On the one hand, the house is located at the narrowest point of the through road, and on the other hand, unusual pieces of furniture that serve outdoors as eye-catchers tempt to a stop. Since a week Schotten has opened its post garden after this house. Reason enough for me to stop today on my way home. There are enough parking spaces, and I crossed the freshly landscaped beautiful outdoor area as a highlight a small pond in the middle and stand in front of the “building” which looks at first glance like three party tents joined together. Inside the tents only the ceiling remains, but looks good. Otherwise a typical Scottish style: wood, old and new, joined together to an effective overall picture.
