"Have you read Nose to Tail Eating by Fergus Henderson? Would you like to give eating some ot the recepies a try? Then this restaurant may be for you. We had pork cheek (joue de porc) last time we were there, and it was delicious. But perhaps not for the faint at heart although probably much healthier than what most people eat nowadays. It came with french fries, hand made on the premises.The mid day meny at €12.00 offers a limited selection, usually two starters, one hot (I had a very fine quiche) and one cold (meat cuts etc.) There are two or three main courses. Meal beverages are include as are the puddings. The latter require a separate paragraph.The father (in-law?) of owner/cook used to be a pâtissier (pastry chef). His secrets are not well kept. We had crème brulée, also made on the premises, and it was so good I had to get the recipe which you can see in the attached pictures. It takes a lot of egg yolks, so you may wonder what he doses with the whites. Meringues, of course, see the picture!"
