"Went here for the first time over the weekend. The owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and packed some awesome flavours. I tried the lobster, shrimp and mahi mahi tacos. Mahi mahi was my favourite, hands down! While the fries are a side dish, they were also delicious! The place had a relaxed vibe with decent tunes playing. I will definitely be back to try their other tacos!"

"This was our second time to Ka Familia. The first time was in the summer, and the second was on Boxing Day. It's far from where we live, otherwise we'd be there a lot more often. The bacon-wrapped langonisa (Filipino sweet sausage) is divine, and was our favourite appetizer! We could have eaten those all day, they're so flavourful! The lumpia and the pork belly skewers were also fantastic. We had the calderetta gratin and the adobo as our main courses. Both were excellent dishes. The first time we went, we were able to try the Kare-Kare, but that was only a limited-time offering. It was very good! There was a very light sweetness to the sauce, which was new for me. If they bring this special back, I'd highly recommend trying it. The service was excellent, and the food arrived quickly and beautifully presented. We're definitely going to go back!"

"Zia and his staff does an amazing job keeping their guests satisfied. They know almost everyone's names and greets you right when you enter the cafe. The food is a blend of Western, Mediterranean, German, and many other dishes. Zia loves to experiment with cooking so he always has different things on the menu. he also insists if you want anything extra on your meal onions, more spice, etc) that you ask for it, and he will be glad to make it to your liking. The fries are amazing!! Sadly, it's only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I have to seek it somewhere else when I get salty snacks cravings. Kris, the phenomenal and sweet barista, makes my coffee so perfect, that I only order it whenever she's around. Here are some of the daily specials they've had: The price is around $10-$12 and comes with Daily soup or salad if there's no fries. Chicken Biryani Saffron Rice Chicken Butter Chicken Curry Chicken Schnitzel and Mashed Potatoes Poutine Special Mediterranean Chicken Wrap Mexican Wrap Housemade Lasagna Steakhouse BBQ Burger with Fries Mushroom Burger with Fries One of the cons would be at times the menu items are a tad expensive. Like the poutine is $7 tax! Although it's a large size, you're better off ordering the burger and fries for $10 tax only if it's on special that day) A slice of Banana bread is $3 tax per piece X_X."

"Chinese cuisine is not usually my 'go to ', but I was converted by the food at Harbin. I am working my way through the menu, but so far I can tell you that the Mapu tofu is divine, as is anything with eggplant. The genmaisha tea is good too. I will be going back there regularly! The staff are friendly and the place is clean. A bit out of the way but very much worth the effort."

"Loved the Taco. Ingredients were fresh and had some great flavour to it. The taco shells are layered with cheese in between them which was nice. I got one taco that was crunchy and one that was soggy so I think next time I'll ask for crispier taco shells. They were soft shells so obviously there not suppose to be crispy but it was nice. Hope they stay around because suburbia needs taco trucks too."
