"Ein Lokal mit einzigartiger Lage. Wir wurden beim Eintritt sehr zuvorkommend begrüßt. Was uns beeindruckt: Wenn der Chef nicht nur Anweisungen gibt sondern selbst tatkräftig mit anlangt, eine neue Kraft behutsam einweist und nebenher sich die Zeit für ein kurzes launiges Gespräch nimmt. Die Küche ist im besten Sinne gutbürgerlich, wobei wir den heißen Stein, die Spezialität des Hauses heute nicht probiert haben. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Pottenstein werden wir hier wieder einkehren.Und wenn jemand in seiner Kritik von erhöhten Preisen spricht, ist das für uns nicht nachvollziehbar.In der Touristenregion Allgäu, unserer Heimat, ist ein Essen für zwei incl. Getränke für deutlich unter 40.- € utopisch. Da liegt man dort eher bei 60.-€ und mehr. Es ist klar, dass die Preise abhängig vom Landstrich sind, aber beklagen muss sich da wirklich niemand.Weiter so und immer gute Geschäfte wünschen wir."

"We made a spontaneous visit to Goldene Krone while making a tour in a Pottenstein area. We took places outside in front of the restaurant and ordered a couple of typical local meals. Everything tasted very good, though I prefer the Schäuferle to be a bit more crispier. The staff was friendly and attentive."

"A super located hotel located in the middle of many hiking and tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the rooms are not as you imagine. The bathroom is much too tight, you have no place for its clothes if you want showers, and also the old carpeting could be refurbished.But the rooms are really clean and the beds are very nicely prepared, even if the slatted grate was replaced by a board, which unfortunately had a shoulder pain. The food is delicious and there is also quite a lot of choice, but the sausages and cheese plates are not sufficiently cooled. Also, these are still released yesterday, which can be seen on the still lying fresh holding film. In addition, the filter coffee is really not the best and that although of the very proud price per night."

"Recht gemütlicher Gasthof mit nettem BiergartenIch war nur auf einem Zwischenstop auf einer Wandtour für ein Getränk vor Ort. Spreisenangebot kann daher nicht beurteilt werden. Die Gäste an den Nachbartischen ( alles zu 100% Touristen ) wirkten alle zufriedenPro:- gemütlicher Biergarten- guter Service- gutes kühles Bier :-)- großer Parkplatz- sehr ruhige LageNaja:- Touri-Spot, daher bei Hochbetrieb mit Sicherheit nicht mehr gemütlichContra:- NichtsBeim nächsten Mal richten wir uns auf einen abendlichen Besuch ein, dann probieren wir auch das Essen."
