"It is the 2nd time we have been to this Restaurant with our adult children.We booked on the day (a Friday) and got the last table.food is great, fresh and great variety.staff were attentive without being unbearable and hovering.there are 2 areas, the front which is a normal eating area, or out the back where there is a fernery with birds, etc and a lovely cooling atmosphere (spec good in Summer)"

"Went there for a birthday event. 15 - 18 of us. Food done on an open wood barbecue at the end of of the cafe. Spend a few moments to go and have a look and talk to the chef. Store sells south american beers etc. Meats were brought to the table in large bowls for sharing, kept hot with ashes from the barbecue, tender and well cooked. Friendly owner and staff. Worth a visit"

"Monday night. Place was quiet. There were only a few other tables seated. Drinks took ages. I thought our drinks had been forgotten but was assured they were on the way. Dinner arrived but still no drinks. They eventually arrived. <br/>Meals were great. Good size serve of soup for only $10.<br/>Generous amount of fresh lettuce herbs with the spring rolls."

"My wife and I have lived in Sunshine for 5 years and were regulars at many restaurants including Phu Vinh, Co Do, Pho Hien, Mambos and Afghan Master Kebabs. After discovering Vu Gia recently, we have become regular customers. The peaceful atmosphere is a welcome change compared to some other busy restaurants which sometimes meant dirty/ sticky floors, tables and cutlery.<br/ <br/ For the last couple months, we’ve visited Vu Gia weekly for the Mongolian beef in claypot; it comes out hot!!! It’s delicious and nothing is ever left behind by the Mrs who is a fussy eater. The Pho isn’t good so go elsewhere but the Hu Tieu Xao and Mi Xao were good.<br/ Its a shame Vu Gia only has an average rating, like many others out there, because it is not always a true reflection of the place. Likewise, a higher rating restaurant doesnt necessarily mean it’s always great. <br/ Point is, try and see for yourself and you might be pleasantly surprised like we have."

"The Millers Inn was a regular on my places to eat list for several years. About a year ago the hotel changed hands, at first nothing changed, but after a month or so things started to slide. The meal portions got smaller, the feel of the bistro changed from a happy friendly place to a cooler, more impersonal, venue. I decided to give it a miss for several months and tonight we ventured back to see if had improved. Sadly not, I had a lamb roast, I think it would be better described as lamb fat with bits of meat, the accompanying green veg looked and tasted like it had been sitting in water for several hours, slimy and tasteless. My wife had the Chicken Pama with Chips and salad, I can report the salad was ok, the chips were misleading - bits of chips would be a better term the sizes ranged from 2mm to 5mm - not really a chip, the chicken itself was fine other than the tomato paste was very watered down with no taste. I can however say the bistro front of house staff and the bar staff were great.We found it very disappointing meal overall. I guess this happens when good pubs are bought by larger groups. I put the Millers Inn into the catagory as the Westside hotel in Laverton, I think they are the two worst hotels for food anywhere in the Western Suburbs. Very Sad"
