"We went here for my daughters birthday. All started well and the staff were very friendly. Food came out quickly and we were seated near the children's play area which was great for the kids. Our mains came out and as I cut into my chicken Alexander it was still raw in the inside. Called the waiter over who agreed and took it back and then said I could choose something else. I ordered a vegetarian pasta as I felt ill because I was unsure if I had eaten any of the raw chicken in my first few mouthfuls. Waiter was very apologetic. However when we went to pay our bill not only were we charged for the chicken meal that was under cooked but also our daughters who was meant to eat free for her birthday which they knew it was her birthday. When we mentioned this to the person taking payment she couldnt of cared less. Will never be eating here again!"

"This place has never let us down. The food is great not over priced, lovely atmosphere staff are always friendly. A real nice pub to come to for a family meal. So good having a place like this in Greerton. Well done guys. Keep up the great work. We'll be back"

"Food quality was excellent, service was very good the waitress we had was so lovely attentive. We got several dishes to share which worked well for us. It was very busy the night we dined with several large groups dining so the noise was quite loud but apart from that it was a very pleasurable experience. We would def come again."

"Phenomenal coffee! I love the calm and relaxing atmosphere of Montrè cafe. The owner is incredibly kind and passionate and provides a wonderful experience. She makes a proper coffee! Im a real coffee junky so I have explored many cafes all over the country. Montrè cafe has the best coffee Ive had in a very long time!"

"As much as I love Mexican food, this place is not my cup of tequila. Not sure what type of restaurant they are trying to be, as they have a limited menu which has a large amount of non-typical Mexican fare. So if you are looking for a burrito or chimichangas, go elsewhere. If you are looking for small, over-priced meals, come here. I had the Oaxacan Tortillas which were served with chicken and four small mounds of different veges. Very odd. Again, not your typical Mexican."

"With distance the best Chinese restaurant in the bay. a large selection of dresses for selection. that is not the average fish n chip Chinese foods that they may be used. it is as close to the real thing as they go to auckland without car or better still, to China."

"I like the ambience of this place. They have a lot of beers on tap and you can even do a beer taste platter if you can’t decide. Seems like they are pretty busy during happy hour with a lot of happy hour deals I see on the walls but we came here during lunchtime. Overall the food was just ok. If you’re here just for the beer and table snacks, I would recommend this place but if you’re here for the food, don’t have too high expectations. We ordered the BBQ pork buns and pork prawn dumplings. These were my biggest disappointment because I read some reviews saying their dumplings were awesome. No they were not. The skin on the dumplings were so thick and the fillings in the buns were so little. The filling vs bun ratio on the pork buns was just sad. On the other hand, the onion rings were good and the wok begets were ok as well. That’s why I would say this place is a good bar spot. Not so much a restaurant spot for me."
