"Service : Host of the restaurant doesn't present thyself too well. Attitude was shown and constantly looked down on us and some other patrons. No visible waiters at all times, but taking orders are fast, and food comes in the normal wait time. Overall 6/10. Food : We've decided to go with three menus, bbq pork, salted egg prawns, and beef xo sauce noodles. Pork was well cooked, crispy on the outside and had a bite, but not too dense, still tender. Prawns were soft and had a subtle taste of salted egg. Noodles were a bit chewy but very soft, overcooked, the sauce was your average soy sauce. Overall 8.5/10 May Star is definitely a family favorite for years, and the food is still good, I'd just hope the service would improve here."

"We just order today, 31. October 2021, Schweinshaxe and Kassler on home delivery. As the food arrived, we are all happy and start to unpack. The pirk knuckle was very small and I check the weight (370gr).That was the remaining weight after grilling a 1 kg fresh pork haxe. This is ipossible that at the grilling process more than 50% getting lost. The porkhaxe was dry like hell and the skin hard like stone. Even the real meat part was dry out at the first 1 cm. This haxe was first of all not fresh made and second never weight originally uncooked 1 kg. The Kassler was very dry too and hard to eat. Like rubber. Even here the slices already prepared upon selling or delivery. That's why all the meat dry out. By the way, the left over from the porkhaxe weight another 180 gr. That means we only got 190 gr eatable meat for 3 person. If this is the way Mamas treat customers and make money, then good night. Never again. Better I cook my self."

"The cashier advised the min spend before tax was 1mil as the tnc's on one of their cc's promo and not just 1 staff stating it. When i cross checked the promo with my bank I found the promo only require to spend 300k before tax and valid till Sept 2023. So sad they had to do that whatever the reason is. Make sure you check the tnc of their promo before dining in. Totally not coming back"
