"Overall, a very good dining experience. Once our order was taken, the service was very prompt. Salmon was quite tasty and cooked perfectly. Steak was very good. Would prefer if the choices were simply grilled with choice of sides so we could mix and match entrees and sides. Tables are too close together my chair was bumped into repeatedly by waitstaff and customers. The noise level was off the charts, even in the back of the house. We have been coming to Grants for many years and the new pub atmosphere is fun but not conducive to a relaxing meal"

"My favorite vegan items are the spicy garlic aubergine with rice and the vegan boneless ribbed. they also have vegan general tso chicken tofu as well as vegan orange chicken that I have not yet tried, but I plan to try in the future. I had only delicious eating here so I didn't have anything short of amazing. I love to support this little business and I hope they do the same."

"Ate at Max during CT Eats Week. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant was active but not noisy. Our server, Ryan, was attentive, but not overbearing. The cocktails, apps, and special menu items (arctic char and scallops) were excellent, as were the desserts. We heard the CT Eats special was extended for an extra week and would recommend it highly!"

"My daughter and I were visiting Hartford and staying at Farmington. Read about this restaurant online and decided to stop by. We are vegetarians and ordered the Vegetarian Gyoza, Mrs. Peanut and Udon Noodles. We asked for extra spicy. Food was very fresh and delicious, servings were generous. Highly recommend it. "Service: Staff is awful almost robotic they made us feel uncomfortable our waitress was Rebbekah and I almost felt like she was high or something she wouldn’t really look at us we asked for napkins and she just dropped them on the table and kept walking, the same with the bill. Walking in the girls in the front were just staring, it almost felt like they were racist to be honest we were the only two Hispanic girls there! We went during lunch time on a Friday and it was very busy which we did not mind but just a heads up for the people reading this review! Food: Definitely get a burger if you are eating here they are delicious, I just wish my French fries were crunchier but that’s personal preference! The nachos for an appetizer are a must they are delicious! My friend was not a fan of their coleslaw."
