"Recommended by our hotel and close to where we were staying, we decided to eat at the Eisenach Hof. The menu was a bit of a challenge, all written in German and some old German printing like my German language text book many years ago. I figured out a couple of dishes and the waitress helped. My husband had the Bratwurst which was delicious at less the €6 and I had a beef roullade. A bit more expensive and a bit dry. Should have ordered the Bratwurst. But the accompanying red cabbage was absolutely superb. Coffee and dessert, try the baked apple with custard which is brought to you table in a dish of flaming custard. Coffee very good too. Liked the atmospheric middle ages decorations, but maybe too tired to really appreciate it. But we did enjoy our dinner."
